While the input circuit of this double preamplifier is still based on the Studer 169 circuit, we've sought to combine it with a more colourful output section.
When the opportunity came up to get a small set of transformers extracted from an old German mixing console, we jumped in! The very transparent and full sounding Carnhill has left place for a more creamy bass response and smooth but very detailed highs. But still with Germanic rigour. Perfect match!
